You clearly enjoyed THIS one, Jeff! Great job (I think). Unfortunately, this film genre is not one with which I have much experience (Hairspray being the notable exception) so I fully appreciate your theory of the case, if not the examples. Someone more familiar than I will have to comment on that.

Love it. Some are so accurate. Times, faces and circumstances change, But billies remain in every age. Unfortunately, we are at a time when bullies are worshiped and elevated to deity status. One can only hope that some people will "open their eyes, look up to the skies and see..."

I can see that interpretation, as well. Sadly, misogyny was common in all those 80s bullies.
